An Overview Of BIS Certification Document Checklist

Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme has been operating under Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This allows foreign manufacturers to apply for BIS license for use of the ‘standard’ mark.

The mark indicates that the relevant product conforms to Indian standards. It is applicable for every product other than electronic and tech related items that are notified by DeitY.
